CEO/ Camp Director
In 1983, Jeff and his brothers were packed up and shipped out to Camp Bristol Hills with their mom, who was scheduled to be the Camp Nurse that summer. Every summer since then, Jeff has been at one camp or another. Growing up in Upstate New York was fun for him, but not far enough north or east. Jeff has lived in Maine with his wife, daughters, dog, cat, and other various pets since 2015. Jeff graduated from Paul Smith's College with degrees in Forest Recreation and Natural Resources Management & Policies, and from Plymouth State University with a degree in Business and a certificate in Organizational Communication. Jeff enjoys playing in the woods, cutting trees, and then in the wood shop, creating useful items.Email Jeff Gleason
Luke Joines's first summer at YCamp was in 2015. He arrived as an International Counselor from the UK through the J-1 Camp Counselor program sponsored by Camp America. Whilst studying for his degree, he returned to YCamp each summer to share his teaching expertise with the campers and counselors. After graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Physical Education from the University of Bedfordshire, England, Luke joined the YCamp staff for a 12-month internship. After completion of this internship in 2020, Luke was offered a full time position as the Program Director. Outside of work he likes to coach basketball & wheelchair basketball, travel the world and discover new cultures that America has to offer.Email Luke Joines
Jodi O'Keefe's first summer as staff at the YMCA Camp of Maine was in 1999. She worked two summers in the Day Camp, as well as two summers in the Residential Camp. She has come and gone from camp, coming back in 2007 as a TAC (Teen Adventure Camp) Leader, and 2008 in the office. This go-round she returned in 2016 in the office. She has worn quite a few hats over the years working in many different areas of the camp: Pre & Post Season, leading TAC (Teen Adventure Camping), Lifeguard, Activity Instructor, Office Staff, lending a helping hand in the Kitchen, Health Center, Maintenance, and many other pinch-in places as needed! Jodi has been the Office Manager for the past 5 years. She is very proud to be a 3rd generation YCamp staffer, and her children are 2nd generation campers.
Jodi has a BS in Human Services from Springfield College and has worked for several other Y programs primarily in Aquatics, Child Care and Family Programs and Day Camp. She volunteers as a Sunday school teacher at her church and is a volunteer softball coach for the Winthrop Area YMCA. When not at camp, she spends her time with her children and family. They all love to be outdoors participating in a variety of activities, not limited to camping, hiking, fishing, playing kickball and volleyball in their backyard, gardening and swimming.Email Jodi O'Keefe
Kim joined the YCamp family in 2015, and has worn a number of hats since then. Growing up in Nova Scotia, Canada, Kim developed her love for camp as a camper, CIT and Counselor at a church camp there, and later came to the US as a J-1 Camp Counselor. She gained camp experience working at a variety of camp programs across the U.S., in a variety of roles, before coming to YCamp. Kim's degrees in Elementary Education and Business set her up nicely for her current roles as Human Resources Coordinator and Camp Store Manager. Kim's favorite title at YCamp, however, is her unofficial title: Camp Mom! She loves helping make camp feel home to the campers and counselors!Email Kim Gleason

Morgan is a lifelong Mainer who had her first camping and work experiences at the YCamp. As a junior camper, her first letter home to her parents read something like this, "please don't pick me up!" Morgan loved the outdoors and friendships forged at camp. She later studied psychology at Clark University, returned to her Y roots, working as a program director and swim coach at local Y's and area schools before returning to school herself to complete an MSW. In 2014 she completed an MSW at the University of New England and spent several years managing a counseling program serving immigrant and refugee youth. Recently, she's returned to her Y roots, joining the YCamp team once again. She enjoys sharing the outdoors with her growing family and dog, Maggie, in Midcoast Maine.Email Morgan Dorsey
