Each year the Y Camp Director is asked, What does the camp need? Well, we thought we would put some needed items in writing to all so that if someone wanted to purchase or donate something to the camp they could. Remember, the YMCA Camp of Maine is a 501C3 organization so individuals can receive a tax donation when they donate or contribute to the camp. We are very grateful to contributors in 2004. We received a new kitchen stove and two new pot stoves and two used convection ovens for the kitchen.

We will be happy to accept donated items as long as they are in good working order.
• Motor Boat that can be used for water skiing/tubing (with or without outboard motor)
• Sunfish or similar type sailboats (New $2,500 per craft)
• Canoes or Kayaks (You may have one out in your garage you don’tuse anymore)
• Board Games for rainy day programming.
• PA/Music System (New $1,000 used $600)
• Tables & Metal Chairs for the Auditorium
• Pottery Wheels
• Sports Equipment (ie. gloves, bats, tennis racquets, ball, street hockey sticks)
• Maintenance Equipment (ie riding or push mowers, weed wackers, shovels, rakes, etc.
• Ping Pong tables |
